And who don’t love and care for their dogs?
A new law in UK now requires all dogs eight weeks old and older to be implanted with microchip. This microchip simply addresses the reckless ownership as well as to save taxpayer’s cash and use it to take care for them.
Microchip will make it easier to return dogs to their owners if they are stolen or lost. The microchip is about a size of a single grain of rice and injected through a sterile needle under the dog’s skin right between the shoulder blades. The procedure is similar to a vaccination.
The chip will have a unique number that corresponds to the dog owner’s contact details once it will be scanned. All information is logged in a central database and if ever the dog goes missing, the authorities will scan the microchip and that’s the time they can contact the dog’s owner.
If the dogs are out in public, they are still required to wear a tag with the owner’s contact details.
